AutoZone marked its 1,000th store in Mexico with a new location in Querétaro and opened a distribution center in Juárez, Nuevo León; Milenio reported that the center began operating in August.
The Juárez facility adds a Nuevo León hub to AutoZone’s supply network. The company is also building a logistics complex in León, Guanajuato, alongside its existing distribution center in Tepeji, Hidalgo, according to Milenio.
AutoZone executives said the new facilities are intended to expand supply capacity and improve product availability for stores, customers and repair shops. The reports did not disclose the Juárez center’s investment, capacity or job count.
