Nuevo León’s Pymes Ciberseguras program received first place in the public policy, governance and multisectoral cooperation category of the 2026 Premio Nacional de Ciberseguridad AMCS, the state government announced.
The award was presented at the third Foro Nacional de Ciberseguridad on Oct. 9 by the Alianza México CiberSeguro. El Norte also reported that the program received an award at the forum, which distinguished eight initiatives tied to digital resilience, public policy and cybersecurity talent.
The state describes Pymes Ciberseguras as a way to give micro, small and medium-sized businesses knowledge and tools to protect their digital operations. The coverage reviewed does not identify new funding or expanded services tied to the recognition.
