Ammper Generación has proposed the Generación Rancho Fevi solar plant in Los Ramones, Nuevo León: 80 MW of solar capacity paired with a battery rated at 40 MW for four hours, according to pv magazine México and BNamericas.

The project filing places the site beside the El Cuchillo substation, along the Monterrey–Reynosa highway. It estimates annual generation of about 134 GWh and lists a total project cost of MX$250 million; those are filing estimates, not operating output or approved spending.

Grid connection still depends on studies

The environmental-impact filing allows about 12 months for supply, installation and commissioning. It says the final interconnection configuration and any grid reinforcement work will depend on further studies; the coverage does not report that construction has started or that the project is operating.
