Finsa plans to invest $220 million in a 92-hectare industrial park in García, Nuevo León, the developer said in a company announcement reported by Milenio and El Economista.
The project is aimed at adding ready-to-occupy space to one of the state’s manufacturing corridors. Finsa expects the park to receive 25 companies and generate more than 14,000 direct jobs, but those are projections rather than completed operations.
The first 28,573-square-meter building
Construction starts with an inventory building covering 28,573 square meters and requiring $26 million, according to the company’s plan. The building is expected to carry LEED certification and become the first available space in the complex.
García’s role in Finsa’s expansion
Finsa says the park will expand industrial capacity in García as it grows its footprint in Nuevo León. The company currently reports 28 industrial parks, more than 70 locations and 14 million square meters developed across Mexico.
