FINSA broke ground Thursday on a 92-hectare industrial park in García, Nuevo León. Infobae reports a US$220 million investment, while ABC Noticias describes the project as a 4 billion-peso investment; both reports agree on the site, scale and first phase of the buildout.
The campus is planned for more than 25 companies across advanced manufacturing, automotive, logistics, electronics, medical devices, metalworking, and food and beverage. Its first inventory building will cover 28,573 square meters and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027.
Why it matters
For García, this is a piece of industrial capacity arriving with a defined tenant strategy rather than a speculative headline. The park is being positioned to connect new operations with Nuevo León’s road and logistics corridors and with the skilled labor pool already supporting the region’s manufacturing base.
The first phase is expected to generate more than 14,000 direct jobs. Infobae also reports that the first building carries a US$26 million investment, will seek LEED certification, and will include solar systems, water treatment and reuse, roads, and recreational areas.
What to watch
The next checkpoint is the first building’s early-2027 delivery, followed by the pace at which companies commit to the campus. The gap between the two reported investment figures is worth keeping in view as the project moves from groundbreaking to construction.
