Nuevo León’s tourism investment portfolio includes 52 projects valued at US$2.87 billion, putting the state sixth nationally, up from 12th, according to the August 2026 balance presented by the state tourism secretariat during its fifth-year report.
That figure describes a project portfolio, not capital already spent. State officials separately reported more than 1.8 million tourists lodged and tourism-related economic spillover above MX$24 billion through July; those figures measure activity, not the portfolio’s realization.
The reporting does not break out the 52 projects by location, status, or investment schedule, so the headline total alone does not show how much money has reached sites.
