Federal investigators found a valve, hose and fuel containers connected to a Pemex pipeline near Parque Industrial KOR in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, according to El Financiero and Milenio. The site is roughly 300 meters north of the Saltillo highway, beside an industrial-park property.
The Federal Attorney General's Office carried out the search with Pemex security and local police involved in the response. The reports describe the connection as suspected; authorities had not identified the hydrocarbon type, said how much may have been taken or confirmed that the line was active.
The location puts an industrial corridor in the frame
Milenio reported that the adjoining lot had a connection into a warehouse, while El Financiero said the FGR was keeping the property under investigation. Neither report established a link to a specific tenant or company in the park.
Detention status was not settled
The accounts differed on a possible detention. Milenio said no arrests had been reported when it published; El Financiero said a person may have been preliminarily detained but that the FGR had not officially confirmed the person's legal status.
