Monterrey Mayor Adrián de la Garza reported more than MX$2.3 billion in public investment over the first two years of his administration at his second government report on Sept. 28.
The amount is a two-year total, not a single project budget. El Horizonte lists roadway work on Circuito Nacional and Circuito Cumbres, five interventions on Carretera Nacional and two vehicular bridges over the El Calabozo and La Virgen streams.
The report also names Regio Ruta, the city’s first municipal transit system, which has seven strategic routes. For local operators, those details make the headline figure easier to read as a portfolio of mobility and road projects rather than one stand-alone contract.
