Nuevo León Accounts for 9.5% of Mexico’s Q2 Exports

The state ranked third by share; electronic shipments were worth US$3.43 billion in April–June, and exports rose 25.5% year over year, according to outlet reporting on INEGI data.

Nuevo León accounted for 9.5% of Mexico’s state exports in the second quarter of 2026, the third-largest share behind Chihuahua and Jalisco, according to INEGI data reported by Milenio and Expansión.

Exports from all states reached US$195.26 billion from April through June, up 31.6% from a year earlier. Nuevo León’s shipments of computers, communications equipment and electronic components totaled US$3.4276 billion, placing the state fourth in that segment, Milenio reported.

El Economista separately reported that Nuevo León’s second-quarter exports grew 25.5% year over year, citing INEGI figures analyzed by Jalisco’s Secretariat of Economic Development.
